New Puppy Preparedness Packages
The process of searching the shelters/breeders and selecting “the right pup” for your family can be a nerve racking one. There is a lot of pressure from various sides of the situation, and the decisions you make now will impact your family for the next 12 to 18 years. On top of all this, getting the training process up and running can feel a bit overwhelming. We understand completely and are here to help make the process simpler and more joyful along the way. One of the best things we can do to ensure things go as smoothly as possible is prepare! By doing our research in all these areas and setting things up for success before the puppy arrives, we are vastly reducing the amount of stress and anxiety that will occur throughout the process. We have many years of experience in all of these areas and would love to assist!
We offer consulting on how to best set your home up for the new arrival, including a must-have shopping list and all the necessary introductory training techniques you will need to get off on the right foot. We also enjoy coaching folks on how to select the right pup for your family, home environment and overall lifestyle. We may think we know what we want when it comes to the “smartest and cutest” pup we can find, but this can often be a wolf in sheep's clothing. By understanding what is best for all members of the home, we can help coach you on the best breed, age and individual doggy personality that will best fit your home for years to come.
Start at the Beginning
As the saying goes, we only get one chance to make a first impression, and this applies to the world of new puppies too. Our offerings are more of a consultation process than simply “dog training.” If you haven’t chosen your pup yet, we can help you narrow down the best breed variety and local shelters/breeders. If you have already picked the pup out and put in an application for adoption, we can help you set your home up for success before the puppy arrives! If your little bundle of joy has recently become a part of the family, we can help you nail down the basics like potty training, crate training, chewing & biting, basic obedience/communication and many more!
